Lol some people are daft and wont think about it. Tesco always does this.

pick n mix, obviously other bottles in the deal that might be more expensive?

Cos they know it's horrid and no one wants 2 bottles.

lol they think we are dumb - this was on watchdog

They're hoping you can't double 79

I'm so lucky that wasnt under 70p there

All the major supermarkets do this.............they hope people don't look.

But its part of a wider offer isint it ?

Flatmate brought home one of the many spares at work. I wondered who would be the first one to mention it. :x

My favourite was recently in Asda on packets of sweets at 67p each or 3 for £2....................

................. Saving a whole penny!

I've seen this before

Also seen offers where its cheaper to buy 2 than it is 1 (e.g. £1.10 or 2 for £1) and some idiots getting one and saying "Well I wouldnt eat the other one" - even if you throw it in the bin on your way out, you have saved money!!!

As many have said it is mix and match - some of the drinks are about £1.30 so one of those and an orangina and you have still saved.
The weirdest one I have seen (with no explanation like the drinks) was a certain brand of bread. £1 each or 3 for £3.
It won't be more expensive to buy two bottles of orangina, the offer just won't kick in.

i was caught out recently for the first time,at tesco, ready meals £1.50 each or 3 for £5,guess which one i picked.

Also watch out for larger bottle or pack of something, you would think the larger pack to be better for value but it is sometimes cheaper to buy the smaller because it is cheaper per gram or millitre.
