i wouldnt go with anyone other than RAC/AA as they are cheap enough and you get awesome service

I got my breakdown cover through Tesco with my car insurance and I believe it's Green Flag. Never had to use it, touch wood lol, but I certainly can't fault Tesco insurance so I'd imagine their breakdown cover would be the same.

thanks guys, will keep looking but probably remain with RAC

I have just been searching for a Car Breakdown Policy and found that Tesco are doing their Finest Policy for £63 as there is 20% off until 4th Feb 2009. Thought I would check quidco to see if there is any further cashback and unfortunately there isnt, but there is a company called Rescuemycar.com who do a similar policy for £42 and there is a possible 20% cashback via quidco. Have just started another thread to see if anyone has any experience of this company as the price seems too good to be true.

Anyone looking for breakdown cover MUST consider AutoAid.

Incredible insurance - just £37 a year gives you the sort of cover that you would have to pay nearer £100 for with AA or RAC.

And it comes highly recommended by those who have used it.#

Been going for many years now, so well established.

Do yourselves a favour and have a look at MSE's comments about AutoAid. Make sure you also read the MSE Forum about AutoAid.
