tesco: checking Pay Monthly balance

Found 3rd Jul 2010
hey guys,

is there any reliable way to check my usage / balance on tesco mobile? their online system is utter crap - no summary page. all i want is xx texts remaining this month, xx minutes remaining this month, xxmb remaining this month. simple. i don't want to do complicated sorts and crap of their billing system!

i've tried doing the *# phone number they gave, it says please check online. have also tried texting 2121 with balance and get no reply.

no free support number. they charge 20p/call for support.
i was hoping for something more efficient than 20p + a 5 minute phone call to be told 3 figures on my usage. O2 had an app that i could bring up and it'd show me bars for each.

yep. no cheap alternative. customer support number is 08453014455. point is i don't want to sit here on a 5 min call, paying for it, just to find out my balance. this should be readily available to me.

There are a couple of freephone 0800 numbers and landline numbers, ask them to put your through to the PAYG section. Dont really see any other option if you dont want to pay the 0845 or wait on the text option to work.

good luck.
