    tesco delivery

    usually get late night deliveries but opted for a 9-11 delivery slot today.... still waiting!!!

    what do i do if they dont come?!

    My delivery is late
    We try our very best to inform our customers of any potential delay as soon as possible.

    Occasionally delays can happen which are often beyond our control.

    You should receive a call to inform you about the late delivery. If for any reason you don't receive a call, please contact Customer Services on 08457 225533.

    Lines are open 9am and 11pm Monday to Friday, 9am and 8pm Saturday or 10am and 6pm on Sundays.



    anyone got experience of late delivery as no call or anything?

    has it arrived yet?

    its only just 11 oclock give them a few minutes longer

    If it was me I'd give them to 11.30 then phone :thumbsup:

    on the phne now.... not happy me..im laying into this woman..she honing driver!

    well she couldnt contact him and im too annoyed so said refund everything...yes i shouldnt do that as now i have to go on my own but im soooo nooyed i dont think straight! hehe

    if you ring cs and tell them your not happy the driver was late they will refund the delivery hth

    I booked a 9-11 delivery as I needed to get out early, the bloke turned up at 10.53am :roll: he said I dont know why they 9-11, cos we dont even get out of the yard til 9.45am. I book 10-12 now and usually get it aroun 10.30 :w00t:

    I had that problem (and same slot!) last friday - had to go out at 11:30 to a hospital appointment, and he turned up as we were going out of the door so I refused delivery. He didnt even apologise or anything!

    I had called customer services who said they would find out where he was and get back to me (they didnt!). I called back again to say that I had refused delivery and wanted it redelivered - she said they could do it tomorrow, I said that wasnt good enough so she called the store and called me back to say they had nothing that day, so I told her to refund the lot.

    They didnt even apologise or anything for it not turning up until 25minutes after the slot, and didnt call to say it would be late or anything. Well, there was a message left on the answering machine at 11:50 saying the driver would be late (20 minutes after he turned up, and 50 minutes after the end of the slot!) but still no apology

    Went to sainsburys to get the shopping and got it delivered by them this week, much better customer service

    tbh it depends on where you live, on how punctual they are .......... lots of people would want earlier deliveries so yuour waiting on drivers to deliver to others before they can get to yours .......

    as someone said ....... they aren't out of bays till nearly 10 ...... even though most of them start at 6am, thwy ahve to pick up all shopping for the day then they leave the docks after the trucks are loaded up for the rounds .........

    just keep on at thwm and you will get your delivery refunded .... in the next few weeks its gonna be getting harder to get a slot & to get it on time ....... tesco drivers are normally punctual but its the messing about in traffic & having to head back to store that causes them to be late

    I have nothing but praise for Tesco when it comes to online shopping, though I learnt the hard way that one should select "no substitutions" :).

    Always punctual and always arrive with at least 90% of my list (last time they had everything).

    Never had a discount code revoked yet *touch wood*.
