TESCO DIRECT DELIVERY TO STORE

Trying to order item, surprised to find that they make a charge for delivery to store £4.95. I thought delivery to store was free??

Have done this loads but maybe they all cost over £30 before, this is only £15

If you add a tesco sim to your order the whole delivery will be free. Then get a refund on the sim, which is only a couple of quid,

It used to be free but have charged for about 4/5 months now I think, although used to be £25 not £30 :?
If there isn't any free delivery sim card deals going then I generally order the £25 (or £30 now) and then get a refund on the extra items when I go and collect them.

and im sure i used a £5 code too..and quidco!

 Thanks guys

When you say order a SIM card, how do I do this. I don't have one of their phones. Would need to spend £11 to get free delivery.

the sim card isnt free it costs but not as much as delivery to your home and you can then return the sim to your store saying it was a present and you didnt want it :whistling:

Just order the one sim card.
This will make the whole order free delivery.
Don't open the sim card and return it there and then, or, if you think that is too cheeky, return it the next time you are in Tesco.
Say it was an unwanted gift.

 Sorry but this is turning into a bit of a saga............I know I am dim when it comes to these type of things.

Have added the one SIM but still not coming out as free (total £18).

Think I will just order another item for £11, then say it was unwanted/not suitable. Seems the easiest thing.

I think it only comes up free delivery right at the last stage of ordering.

Its not rocket science LOL - add a sim card to your order, this will give you free delivery on your whole order - it will be delivered to your home (why do you want to travel to a Tescos when you can have it to your door)
Then return it to a store next time your in getting some shopping - say it was a gift but its not wanted now - collect your refund and skip out of shop, whistling a happy little tune.

Thank you so much for this tip, it has worked VERY well!
