    Tesco Loan

Hi, I recently applied for Tesco loan and got acceptance over the net and received paper work saying "We've agreed your loan" - but no where in the documents they've asked for any supporting documents like address or ID verification. I am not sure, should I just sign and return the 6 pages or call and ask if they need other docs as well? anyone applied recently , please shed some light. thanks in advance

Companies do most checks on line via credit agencies such as equifax and experience and against the electoral registers, which show you live where you say you live and your credit is good. It's quite funny because when we went into the Halifax to open an account for my son who had had another account with the same bank for 13 years they wanted us to make another appointment and bring in his birth certificate!

thanks for the reply - I previously had loan with Tesco which I cleared off couple of months ago. Could that be the reason, they didn't ask for the docs.. I checked my credit rating via experian and it was coming up as excellent plus I am on the same address for 7+ years.. but the question is should or I shouldn't I send any docs if they haven't asked for it?

    thanks again

If they didn't ask don't send.
