Thailand in July

Has anyone been to Thailand in July, I'm looking at going in Mid-Late July for a week, and it's meant to be "rainy" or monsoon season, and i was wondering if anyone had been at this kind of time and what it had been like?
thanks

boring!

i went and it was fantastic. (this was very late july / early august). very hot, sunny, and probably only rained one, maybe two aftenoons in two weeks.

I went about the 17th July for 2 weeks and it was fine, can't remember it raining even once.
Suppose it is pot luck really

think so. but july is a fair time away, and people not going on holiday for the next two years because scientists say that the volcano is likely to erupt in the next two years in crazy. You could have another Tsunami for all anyone knows...
