Shouldn't we wait until he is POTUS?

What a historic year 2016 is turning out to be. One of the I was there moments X)

I give it 48hrs before someone tries to take a pop at him. I give it a year until the military take control.

Rumour has it that the American election was only advisory.
There will now be a process where thousands of idiots march on Capitol Hill demanding a re-vote.
After that, the Supreme court will interfere and insist that the result needs to be discussed amongst the other politicians.
Once that has taken place, Trump will still be president but millions of dollars will have been wasted in the process and the people will have lost faith in their democratic vote.

Anyone with an IQ high enough to allow them to drag their knuckles into a pooling both and not be shot due to being mistaken for Big Foot could tell the difference between an election and a referndum.

This sparkling piece of satire requires one to have a misunderstanding of two political systems, which is ambitious in a way.

And to think that in the most deprived areas of the country they're talking about closing libraries - that can't help this situation surely.

And the Clinton supporters will claim throughout that only a fraction of the population turned out to vote and it's not representative of the American population

I think those of us who consider ourselves 'liberals' or 'progressives' have to ask some tough questions of ourselves.

When you look at the disadvantaged areas in America like Detroit and areas of Mississippi and the impoverished areas of Britain like Oldham, West Bromwich and Walsall where the conditions are hellish and kids growing up there have seemingly no chance in life, there's little surprise they vote for anything different.

Yeah, I believe someone from the liberal tolerant left will try and kill him, it's the left reverting to type.

I wouldn't be surprised if next weeks Raw or SmackDown Live has a tribute for Donald Trump including Trump Plaza hosting Wrestlemania IV and V, and Trump himself being in Wrestlemania 23

Have you? So you're from the north. Why have opportunities evaded you whilst others have taken them, and what could society/government done differently.

I'm genuinely interested to hear your views.

Well if you have an idea for a business then you can always get investment for it, but why can't you move? Plenty of people make sacrifices and move for a better life for themselves and their family.

What stopped you and what could the government have done to make it easier?

In all the years that I have followed elections in the USA and Britain, I have never seen one in which the losing candidate didn't give a concession speech on the night, nor have I seen one where that candidate's campaign manager told everyone to go home and that it wasn't over yet, only for the candidate to then privately concede an hour or so later.
I feel kind of cheated at not being able to see a concession speech from Hillary Clinton. Perhaps she'll give one later, but it won't be quite the same. Frankly it makes her look a bit of a sore loser. Or perhaps she's already plotting her escape now that she faces the prospect of jail time.

I agree. It's terrible that she hasn't given a concession speech. It's needed for the nation to move forward.

Ginger racist idiot who's grabbed afew fannies VS Racist, corrupt war-mongering elitist.

I'd say the better of two turds won.

...and if Trump lost, he wouldn't have even acknowledged the loss. He would be on camera straight away shouting the vote was rigged/corrupt Hillary, incite riots and follow up with pointless lawsuits. She is in shock that she lost to such a complete buffoon. I'd bet she is embarrassed more than anything.

I've just been watching France24 News coverage and they report that Hillary already knew that she wasn't going to win since last week, according to her staff, but kept up the moral-boosting rhetoric for the sake of her supporters. They also suggested that she should have campaigned on her own ticket instead of coming off the back of Obama's. I suspect that the Clintons want to fade from view after this.

There should be equal opportunities all over Britain, you have to live with the hardships to understand.

It's like being bullied at school, your solution would be move. My solution would be deal with the bullies.

So how far from your front door should an opportunity be?

Does that mean everything has to be in your doorstep so you never have to move?

Honestly, maybe your unwillingness to move to where the opportunities are is a bigger factor than what the government does. The truth is that the best opportunities are scarce and they always will be, so whilst you're sitting on your hands someone else is sacrificing to get them,

    Sorry buddy,
