Bourdais handed a 25 second penalty after the race for holding the racing line when he came out the pits :? wth? that moves Massa up to 7th (shock horror) and he's now only 5 points behind Hamilton in the championship. Not only was Hamilton handed the same penalty as Mass in race for squeezing Kimi off while Massa shunted him, dropping him to the back, but now the race stewards have yet again done all they can get keep Ferrari in the hunt. Seriously, F1 has become an absolute joke this season.

    Easy Tiger!!

Lewis was a bit wild at the start.. doing his very best to blow it again..

Bourdais getting penalty is a bit harsh on him mind.

I agree. There is too much intervention from the FIA this year.
Hamilton has earned his self a reputation of an unfair driver (too agreesive) which to me is totally funded and now he has been looked at on every move he does.
Ron Dennis should have kept a close circle around him for the first few years in F1 until he is properly developed. He has been dropped into the deep end and he does not apear to be able to cope with the pressure.
Fortunately for him, Massa is not much better under pressure.

I am a Ferrari supporter. I have agreed with previous decisions that went there way, but that one is ridiculous. Massa should have yielded, and let Bourdais through, and passed him later.

To get off the racing line, Bourdais would have had to cross in front of Massa, as he was leaving the pit lane. :?

Maybe at his pit stop he should have sat in the pits till massa was well gone as to not get anywhere near him... :giggle:

For Ferrari read FIA and vice versa - I see Todt is leaving Ferrari to take up his post at the FIA so things can only get worse - cry for F1 people because its just a manipulated charade orchestrated by Bernie and Ferrari. In fact Bernies often been central to cheating what with Brabhams illegal sliding skirts in 81 and their blatantly illegal fuel in 83, both of which resulted in WDC's for Bernies driver Piquet. He's no longer a team owner but still deciding who should be F1 champ. Id say two or three of Schumachers titles were dodgy as well.

Something I forgot to mention, does anyone know the rules regarding the pit lane lines, and how they come in to play for cars actually on the race track? I know it's penalty if you cross the line when entering and exiting the pit lane, but it looked like Massa had all 4 tyres across the line when he passed Webber, not sure whether the same rule applies in this case or not, as he would have technically been off the race circuit if that did happen.

So funny watching golden boy throw it away for the second year running

    Come on massa :-)

The term racing incident has no meaning these days
