we thought we had it bad

Torrential rains have flooded many areas of Spain's capital Madrid. The city of Toledo was also badly hit by the downpour.

Two ships, both flying the Liberian flag, ran aground in rough weather in the Strait of Gibraltar.

Yes rain in Spain is not good at all.

I was out earlier this year and I kid you not a good few small (I mean small) bridges collapsed due to the rain (swollen rivers).

My daughter got back from Calella (Costa Brava) a couple of weeks ago & said it rained everyday they were there (14 days) apart from 2 !
I expect it will be our turn for a 'pounding' sometime in the near future.

i only got back from marbella on wednesday and it was lovely, i was chuckling at laying on the beach in oct hehe

just my luck i am flying out to salou on sunday
