Things to do in Southport this Fri-Mon

Found 12th May 2011
Hi, I'm off to Pontins Southport with my girlfriend and our 14 year old son tomorrow, can anyone reccomend the following:
1. Where to eat out, we like carverys.
2. Places of interest, museums etc.
3. Free things to do.
Any help appreciated, thanks.

Ignore purple22, they are being unhelpful. CLICK HERE - look at point 20. That should help sort you out for a nice break.

Not sure what your getting at, I'm happy with the booking just looking for things to do around the camp local area.

OK, try HERE then.

Great nice walk up and down the high street and on the sea front if the weather is good..

Loads of places to eat on the main high street.

Southport is nice..

Enjoy!

tbh their isn't alot to do. Shopping is the main reason for going to southport, it's nice to walk along the pier and go to the penny arcades, thats nice for an hour or 2. There is a cinema, and bowling alley, and a few arcades. The rollercoasters have gone, and thats all I can think of really, lol.

Southport is lovely.

Try visitsouthport.com for some ideas.

I know it's late now but I live in southport and if its nice a great thing to do is pleasure land it's free entry but pay for tokens for rides just get £20 worth and your fine. We went in the summer and it was a really good way to entertain all the family. There is a new carvrey pub on the front with a sea view outdoor seating and a play area it's great for family. Other good places are Funland. The pier or YMCA it has roller blading rock climbing and more!! Hope this helps everyone needing advice. I think southport is mainly nice in summer so it's your cheaper Blackpool

The best thing to do in Southport? Go to Liverpool...
