As above, she hasnt got anything in the car at the mo, would like something you can put memory cards/usb into and plays mp3's, not bothered about being able to plug in an ipod/mp3 player as she doesnt have one, dunno if im asking too much for my budget. Also does anyone know what the charge is to fit one if the car has never had one in? thanku

never heard of the make but the reviews area good..

+ in store fitting for £19.99

your best off going to halfords finding an ok one they had some for about 60 when i was last in before xmas so may get luckey in the sales and it would be alot easyer to get them to fit it then if it goes wrong its there fault

fitting is easy..... what car does she have at the moment and does she already have wiring in there for the current stereo?

halfords will get you to buy additional cables from instore ( i brought a new car stereo last week) but don't buy them, get them off ebay for a few quid.

im not sure whether theres any wiring at all for a stereo or not tbh, id have to ask her when she gets in

why dont you go and have a look! If there is a stock radio ( factory fitted) you would have to buy the removal keys and probably a adapter to fit the cables from the new stereo, ask in halfords which bits you would need and then just find them on ebay, i saved about £30 doing it this way and fitted it myself took about 20 mins max

for your budget and spec requirements lidl and aldi do suitable stereos, as for fitting normally piece of cake if vehicle is modern :o)

erm, shes out in at the mo, and im gonna ask her if thats what she wants anyway, as i know theres a few things she requires at the mo, thankyou for your help. theres no radio or nothing in at all, this is why i know she wants one as she hates the car being so quiet
