Thinking of going to Paris for my hen party - help/info please

I'm trying to decide where to go for my Hen Party and I've seen some cheap flights to Paris with Ryanair and quite like the idea of going (never been before)

BUT I have no idea which area to start looking for a hotel in

We'd like shops, somewhere to have a nice meal at night and somewhere with a few bars - all within easy reach of the hotel

Anyone any suggestions please

some great advice, reviews on hotels etc

tripadvisor.co.uk/Tou…tml

sorry I cannot be more specific but I cannot personally recommend as
I have not been either, seems an ideal place to go though ENJOY

Supermod

I stayed at a place called Oceana in Port De Versailles and it was gorgeous. Everywhere in Paris has great links to the centre and there is plenty to do around Paris so it doesnt really matter where you stay!

Best Western Premier l'Horset Opera, Paris, France

That's where we stayed in January - Lovely hotel, with everything you need close by - Louve is literally down the road, designer shops etc nearby as well as Printemps (big dept. store) and the like within easy walking distance.

4* hotel though, might be too dear for a hen party...

But definitely a great place

When I say Hen Party I don't mean it in the normal kind of Hen Party way!!

I'd like to say in a more sophisticated kind of way (well to start with anyway!)

Yes just £10 return, we'll just take hand luggage, check in online, and pay by visa electron

Payed the same price to fly to inverness in a couple of months.
Much cheaper than the petrol the car would have took.
As you said hand luggage only and an electron card keep the extras down.......

Hen party.......females (i presume)......only hand luggage? ;-)

Surely it's a large suitcase each for clothes, shoes, makeup etc etc ;-)

Paris is superb and all the usual sights worth a visit - BUT - be prepared to take a major hit in terms of cost. It isnt cheap and with the £ so low against the Euro this will be a very expensive trip.!!

Hope you get somewhere..

You will find the Latin Quarters to be a great base for what you are looking for.

Aim for places like St Michel (Highly highly recommended) Chatlet, Les Halle and Hotel De Ville.

You will be in the centre of Paris and close to all the attractions. I stayed in Paris for a year so I have been to most places

Oh and Bastille is nice too.

It's also free on Friday nights I believe. We were a bit miffed at that, since we arrived on a Sat and left on a Thursday :P
