I am currently on a o2 iPhone contract, Bit im sick of iPhone and i am thinking of selling and getting a android based phone.

But i would like to know a few things,
*Will my free data work on a different phone, Such as connecting to 3g and using facbook and apps would this be charged or be free like on the iPhone.

*Will o2 allow me to sell my iPhone?

Price and screen basically.
I have San Fran after losing my Desire and only difference I can see is that it works just that little bit slower. Thoroughly impressed with it.

Galaxy s is much faster and also has a built in graphics processor ,Bought two San Franciscos for my sons but wouldnt use them myself as they are far too slow,

Data is data and should transfer over just fine.
The sanfrancisco is a great budget option android, but it wont compare to the iphone or the higher end androids in terms of speed.

Same OS though. The galaxy S and the HTC desire are what you should look at if moving from an iphone. Better processor, more ram, better screens and cameras.

If I can correct you there, it's not the case of an OSF comparing to "the iPhone", since there's four of them now. From what I gather, the iPhone 2g is now pretty much unusably sluggish, the 3g frustratingly sluggish, and only the 3GS with its low-res 480*320 screen and the iPhone4 are fast with the latest iOS releases.

Any more ideas on affordable devices? Other than the San Fran , Which im siding to purely because of cost,.
