my son has booked a holiday with thomas cook for 11 days time, they now have been adviced that there hotel has closed early,are they due any compensation from thomas cook over this as they picked there tickets up & had a phone call day after advising hotel has closed ? thankyou

Ask for an upgrade for the inconvenience

look in the terms and conditions of the agreed contract' look into whether any insurances cover the situation. Also ask, what compensation it is your son is looking for; in which ways is he out of pocket?

the hotel had more stuff going on & was nearer to the center & more restaurant options,as its an all inclusive holiday

May be entitled to a full refund, but would mean no holiday

But try and negotiate an upgrade to a better hotel or different resort

If hotel closing early sounds like resort is pretty dead everywhere.

Where is it .?
