Three Network - Ending Customer Loyalty Discounts???

Found 8th Dec 2010
I've just gotten off the phone to Three and I was told that a new policy came into force a few days ago whereby existing customers with loyalty discounts/old contracts can no longer upgrade to a new phone. If you now want to upgrade to a new phone, you will have to give up your loyalty discount and take out a new price plan. The agent said that it was only introduced days ago and feedback was being gathered so the policy may be reversed.

It may just be Three lying again but I called back and a different person said a similar thing.

I have now asked for my PAC as I'm on a really old plan with discount whereby I pay £5 for 500 mins and 100tx.

Anyone else been able to confirm this?

I've heard this many times before from T-mobile... However I've always managed to keep my discount. Maybe they're just bluffing? Try calling back.
Just ring back and hopefully you get another person on the phone, as different people I have spoken to have different 'powers' to give offers.
