    TIF files

Have been sent a CD with approx 400 pages documents on it. Can only see 2-3 pages, does not appear to be any others to display. Have tried using Picasa to open but seems whatever I use, still see same few pages.

Help pages only mention openong an e mail with TIF. Have also followed that advice with no luck. Anything more starts using very techy language and looses me.

    Thanks in anticipation

Maybe there are only 2-3 pages of data in the document?

google .TIF it should give you a link to what program you can use to open it.

Just to clarify, you've got a CD which has 400 files on it, but you can only open 2 or 3 and they're all .tif files?

if thats the case, it sounds like the CD might not have been burnt correctly. If they're all .tif files they should all open in Picasa.

No, one file containing 400 pages.

Can only see 2-3 pages. Have been assured all the pages are there. If there was a problem, I would imagine I would not see any pages

not always, the CD burn might have been corrupted half way through. Do you know what kind of file it is?

.tif files are images so shouldn't technically have 'pages'

I remember opening multi-page faxes in earlier versions of Windows stored in .tiff (.tif?) files.

That functionality is probably still in XP and Vista.

just found out that it is used for just printing off the pages, not designed to be viewed, unless get additional software.
