Has anyone got this on the ps3?
im playing it just now but it doesnt seem to have the same oomf as 2007
does this one not have like st andrews, carnoustie etc?

Can you take games back to gamestation and swap them if you dont like them?

As its opened, not likely, you be able to trade it or sell it there. Saying it doesn't play won't work as they can probably test them or just swap it over for another.

I know someone put something sarcy on here about - you watch..

it was a pre owned one

I'm not sure what their return policy is on pre owned games. You could go in 1 store and get a refund,go to another and they will only xchange.
Think your best bet is to get an exchange.

We got it on Wii and my partner likes it.

yeh but it doesnt have st andrews etc, id rather have had that than playing somewhere i dont know lol

best you will get is the trade price, although it might be worth trying the 'it doesn't work' aproach, worst they can do is offer a repalcement (which you would then be free to trade in), and if they didn't have any in stock, you'd get your money back.

how much would gamestation give me back for it as a trade in

I'm quite sure the PS3 version like the Xbox 360 will have St. Andrews and Carnoustie. I think both need to be unlocked which is done as you progress through the game.

Just asked my husband, and this game DOES have both those courses... must be that you have to unlock them.

this may help:
Cheat: Unlock All Courses
Head to the designated in-game passwords menu and enter GREENSFEES to unlock all of the courses.

(haven't tried it btw)

so you have to unlock them on the 2008 one,
on the 2007 you can just play the st andrews and carnouste etc as normal without having to unlock them first
