So my toilet is making a hissing noise every few minutes. Due to trickle of water being leaked into the bowl, it looks I need to replace the complete fill valve unit as demonstrated on this video here:


I've also seen other videos where they have replaced the rubber inside the plastic cap. With the unit I have, I cannot seem to find any DIY video on how to achieve this, is it even possible?

In my situation, would you advise i just replace the complete unit or would I better saving and getting the rubber seal replaced?

Here is a pic of the unit in my tank I think I'll need to replace
