What's a 'Magic Bag'?

Too Good To Go offers what it likes to call 'Magic Bags'. What's so magic about them? Well, the 'food waste' that is dealt with at Too Good To Go is all the delicious, perfectly edible food that stores and restaurants have to throw out at the end of the day. Some great examples of this unsold food is from bakeries that have to bake fresh everyday or restaurants that didn’t sell all the food they had prepared. However, you won’t know exactly what you’re getting until you pick it up. Exciting stuff hey...

I have loads of places in my area available on the app, I saw a cake shop earlier offering cakes for about £2 or £3 reduced from £10 and if I wasn't going out in a different direction when I saw that I would've bought it

To be fair selling cakes and biscuits on the app is fine (if not overpriced of course, which would defeat the purpose of the app), it's much better than them going to waste (edited)

This is posted quite a lot and I remember getting torn a new one for innocently (or so I thought) making an observation that it wasn’t that good for people who don’t drive.

Because it's too much to carry home? I made that mistake with a Morrisons "Easter" magic bag and the only thing Easter related was hot cross buns! Everything else was just reduced to clear groceries.
