TopCashBack vs Quidco?

Just stumbled across this website ( topcashback.co.uktopcashback.co.uk ) in the forums. It claims to offer 100% of comission, like quidco, and has the same £5 admin charge. However you get £2.50 bonus for signing up, and it allegedly has higher cashback percentages than Quidco.

Has anyone used them? Do you know how long they've been around and if they are reputable? Their site's design looks dodgy, Quidco seems much more professional and trustworthy, if that's anything to go by.

They beat quidco in some places, and lose in others.
Best thing is the 10-20p per click for using kelkoo etc once a day. Can rack up about thirty quid a week if ya got a few hours to spend.
Prompt payments but wouldn't trust em with my bank details: take the paypal if unsure, or the cheque.

Naughty naughty sean - that affiliate link will be removed by the mods soon....

poppy, the thing that put me off this site is the way they call Quidco "Q'co" - its like they dont want to advertise them. If there so much better then surly no one would go to quidco and they dont need to hide it. Also i dont like they way they do referals!

It's not an affilliate link. Just a refferal link... Nothing wrong with someone on the forum getting the £2.50 refferal payment if everyone is suddenly going to start signing up is there?

Edit: gah guess i missed the other one being taken out.. Certainly didnt see a rule against refferal links when I signed up.

We actually yes there is, because if its allowed for one person then it will allowed for all! Also have the referral would make any comments you had biased! And also make you advertise it at every opportunity - like you have just done!

With Quidco they have no referral on the basis they are soo good that they don't need to make people spread the word!

Not exactly every opportunity: once suggesting someone else makes use of the fact everyone is signing up, and once when a debate would spur a huge number of signups anyway. Tis silly for a site that is there to earn people money lets refferal fees go to waste... At least create a generic one for every site run by the admins to make some cash off to put towards site costs or contests of some sort.
Doesn't really bias things... Take comments as you see them... if you think one is biased look at the rest... tis the point of a forum after all: noone is 100% objective at any given time; thus the balanced view of more than one person are what allow you to assess if something is a good deal or not... what might be useful for one is not for another et vice versa.

This site has never been about "earning money" - i think your mistaking HUKD with MSE. Its about saving money. Lets not polute this thread any more (sorry) - its the forum rules - end of!

Back on topic.
I think I'll be switching, I'm getting fed up of Quidco not tracking my purchases.
The main ones that I use offer a bigger cashback than quidco.

I'll be sticking with quidco - I've had good experiences with them. And I agree affiliate/referral links should remain banned - they just promote spamming of the boards and inevitably cause bias in comments.

I use both Quidco and TopCashBack. I have found TopCashBack very reliable and the one time I did have to submit a manual claim it was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Use the both, however quidco have more power due to sheer numbers of users, so normally the cashback is better.

Have no problems with either. TCB actually tracks better aswell, or so it seems.

However, i'd always reccomend quidco, but nothing to stop you using both. Have had about £200 from TCB with no probs.

Yuu have to take care with ALL cashback sites' comparison tables as they obviously only show the ones that show them in a good light. I use both Quidco and TCB (NONE of the others come close for cashback unless you want to jump through hoops every time you go through rpoints and make an HCP claim....I don't!).

If you are going to insure your car or home etc then Quidco really is the logical choice as the cashback offered tends to be way bigger than TCB.

I must admit i have registered with a few but quidco is the one i use i rarely use the others .

How do you manage that? 7*20p=£1.40 in my books.

I think one cannot, but can you use the two at the same time for one transaction?

Edit: Sorry posted in the totally wrong thread

Anyone recommend any gaming cashback
