Toshiba laptop Help/Advice

I am looking to buy a laptop for xmas, but want one that is capable of playing games. I am not a hard core gamer but would at least like to play some of the up to date games that are out there. My budget is £500 (top end), but most of the lap tops I have seen all have integrated graphics which I have been told is no good for gaming. A colleague in work has offered his lap top for sale @ £450 which he says he paid £1000 for this time last year from PC world. The spec is:

not to sure about the clock speed for up to date games. Is that decidated memory for the graphics card?

It's a very good spec. I'd buy it if it's in good condition.

He has brought it into work and it looks like new, he has used it but only a hand full of times, he is a bit of a gadget king ! He has now moved onto digital photography and finds the laptop too big to be carrying around and is looking for a smaller 12".

How do I find out if if has dedicated memory for graphics? Only spec I have is taken from the Toshiba site and posted above.

Edit: have done a bit of surfing it appears to have 128MB dedicated memory is this good or bad ?

I dont know much about graphics card but i THINK you would need a bit more then that to play the latest games., I saw a 2GIG ram VISTA laptop for £499 new @ comet, that one wont be much good for gaming though.
