Totally free calls and texts on Tesco PAYG mobile.

Just thought I'd share a way I've found to get free calls and texts on Tesco mobile PAYG if you shop there.

If you shop at Tesco you will be collecting Clubcard points as a matter of course. These points can be spent instore directly on your shopping, but they can also be converted into Tesco Rewards.

One reward is, you can double up your Clubcard vouchers on Tesco Mobile network top-ups. And then when you top-up, Tesco mobile double, or even treble, the amount you've topped up.

For example, if you go into the store with a £5 Clubcard voucher they will exchange it for a £10 'double up' reward token for Tesco mobile. You take the reward token to the checkout and they give you your £10 Tesco Mobile top-up code. When you apply the code by topping up your phone, Tesco mobile will then double it again to £20 worth of credit.

If you go into the store with a £10 Clubcard voucher they will exchange it for a £20 'double up' reward token for Tesco mobile. You take the reward token to the checkout and they give you your £20 Tesco Mobile top-up code. When you apply the code by topping up your phone, Tesco mobile will then treble it again to £60 worth of credit.

If you're collecting Clubcard points anyway, all it has cost you is those points.

If you need a Tesco sim, you can get one with £10 top-up included for only £5 to start you off. And I'm sure when you register the sim, they will doble up the pre-paid £10 on it too.

And now Tesco Clubcard holders receive double Clubcard points, two points for every £1 they spend across the store and online, so you can collect your points even quicker.

Simples.

Every little helps.....
it's hardly free when, even with the new double points, you will need to spend £250 to get a £5 voucher ... and in case you didn't know double up ends 30th September

In the May 2009 - August 2009 Rewards booklet, only the Wine And Champagne catagory has the 30th September cut-off date.

However, in the new August 2009 booklet it states the Wine And Champagne catagory is "Contiuing due to popular demand".

As far as I can tell in this booklet, only Flowers, Plants And Gardening has a 30th September cut-off date for vouchers and with Back To School, you must exchange your vouchers to school tokens by 20th September and use them by 4th October.

Therefore I've assumed the Tesco Mobile Top-up catagory will carry on.....
