Toyota Aygo semi automatic gearbox issue

I have an 56 plate Aygo, it's got a N flashing on the dashboard and doesn't drive. Google search reveals it could be the actuator. Are there any Aygo owners here who have had a similar issue or any mechanics or people with the know how who can share some tips on how to resolve this fault.

Do I need to replace this actuator part? Get it rebuilt?
