May be not for right now but soon all you'll need for hours of fun is:
* cold porridge in a bowl and plenty of wipes afterwards
* wooden spoon and empty tin of roses (buy and start eating them now!)
* a low window or TV to go with their wet greasy fingers
* a box big enough they can climb in (don't worry about the toy that cam in it, they will find the box more interesting anyway!)

Congratulations and good luck, enjoy her!

ELC has soon good toys for the early years, and you may find relatives/friends cannot resist buying the new girl some gifts so you may not need to buy any yourself.

I highly recommend kiddicare. Sells many of the things Mothercare does but alot cheaper.
Our kids had great fun with foil survival blankets. They liked them 'cos they're shiny and rustle when they move/touch it. I think it was only 3 or 4 quid. Although as a previous poster suggested a large empty cardboard box will never go amiss.
