    train ticket

    Hi guys , bought a return ticket (2x advance singles ) going on wednesday and returning thursday ,Just found out I am getting a lift there so dont need to travel there so my question is can i just use the return part to get back ? TIA

    yeah , i know its probably a yes , just making sure

    also i have to print out ticket in station and was worried in case it dont print out cos i have gone past the outward journey.

    You could chance it, but if the ticket inspector finds out that you're travelling via a completely valid ticket in complete accordance with the route and time specified on it, he might not mind in the least. You'd he completely at his mercy, and he may even wish you a good day or say 'thank you' for travelling with them.

    I'd say print them off before hand. Saves time in the process to.

    Not the best answer unfortunately as advance tickets are non refundable

    You should have no problems on your return journey as long as you turn up for the correct timed train specified on your reservation
