How old are you and the other traveller. Could you purchase a Railcard each?

leave an hour earlier and will be fine

Right, i think my calcuations are right.... a railcard will save you 1/3 on prices, but you need to pay a minimum fare of £8 as you travel before £24 per person (and you need one each) so

£8 (saving £2.90)
£8.25 (saving £4.15)
£14.50 (saving £7.80)
£14.85 - just £10 more than the full fare.

If you use it once more in the next 12 months, you'll have saved.even more.

god, work it out yourself. Im sure that the prices quoted (both with and without) Railcard are correct! You'll need to check www.thetrainline.com, or www.nationalrail.co.uk to see if they are bookable now.

its ok.. i just hate people (not you), that just post on here without even looking themselves. Any posts I ask about (Deal Requests etc) i always look prior to posting... Having said that, I love looking for deals for people. TBh, if I was paid £6 an hour I would glady sit on PC 8 hours a day looking for deals :whistling: Could call mesel pa4people.... a personal assistant for your every need .. be it needing to book a train ticket, hotel flight. when you cant be bothered, or haven't got time, I could be your man!
