Can someone recommend the best way to transfer apps (Whatsapp account etc) to a new android phone? Specifically a Nexus 4 to a S5?

you just have to re download everything and for files i suggest doing on a computer as its alot quicker.

If you can remember your Google account and password, simply use the same account and password then open playstore, and my apps. They will be there for downloading.
