I've been trying to transfer large film files over the network to my ps3 using tversity, they transfer fine but then when i play them on the ps3 there is a slight delay in the sound which is annoying, anyone got any idea how i can sort this out?

I'm not sure what Tversity is or what the benefit is in using it...but why not just drop your files into your Media Player Library and set up your PC as a Media Server on your PS3? The PS3 will stream most media files doing it like that...

but cant you just copy them directly from your pc via media player? Mine shows my PC on my PS3 as folders and I can just copy what I like directly to the HDD

What network speed do you have?

it's the same result when I do it via media player thats why I tried tversity the file on the ps3 now has a slight delay on the sound

Why not invest in a memory stick and watch them off the memory stick on your PS3? Yeah, it's not got the convenience of wireless, but it does save you having to manage space on your PS3...???

so you do a direct file copy from your pc to the ps3 via media player server and the sound is off by millisecs?

I take it you have tried copying the file via usb stick to ensure its not a codec problem on the ps3.

Got the full codec pack for TVersity? Tweak the settings, cache etc - had some problems with mine at first but very smooth now - usually only a delay if there is one on the original file.

Now I'm confused. The maximum file size on a PS3 is 4GB so how did you get a 10GB file on it?

I'm not talking about that. The PS3 HDD is FAT32 - Maximum file size is 4GB regardless of transfer methods.

It should download this as part of the TVersty download. If not just google it and you should be able to find the latest version.
