    Trapped by Bollard...

Homowners woke to find their cars had been blocked in overnight by bollards.

They say council workmen erected the barriers at the end of their driveways without warning.

This left them no time to move their cars onto the road.

you will find he has no right to drive across the footpath and that he would have been warned about doing so previously.it is the deeds of most ex council houses

I'm not questioning that but plannning permission would need to be sought and then publicy noticed for about 2 weeks for any objections to be raised, you need planning permission for shed these days.

Also the fact they did it in the middle of the night at higher wage costs to boot is so suspect, its not impossible to sue the council.

Some of the comments are brilliant

the council will have put them up as a health and safety issue and the home owner would have been made fully aware and warned but probably chose to ignore the fact he was driving across a public path without permission.
