Hi everyone

Can anyone help me please? Im going on holiday soon and need to get my money changed into euros. Im getting all confused and in a flutter with these comparison sites so thought i'd put it in the hands of you helpful lot.

Does anyone know if there are any offers or deals on euros? or if what is the best price at the moment.

Thanks guys

I'm not sure what you're looking for, a large volume exchange?

Otherwise I'd advice using the Post Office, because:
1- They need the British publics support.
2- They are easily accessable.
3- They don't charge commission.…210

Have a great holiday!

was looking around £500, not sure if thats classed as a large quantity though.

Where are you located?

If in London go to the bureaux on Victoria Street just out from Victoria Station. They are commission free and there rates are always well ahead of the likes of M&S, Thomas Cook or the very poor rates of the Post Office.

If I recall last week when I walked past they were offering 1.135 to the pound.

i'd use cheque centre they seem to have the best rates go online an check em out

I'd use my post office credit card while abroad - commission free and usually get the middle rate from teh bbc news site (when i used it anyway - it the mastercard exchange rate you get - not the post office exchange rate)

Only useful if you have one already - otherwise can take 2-3 weeks to get one!

Other than that - i find my bank offers good rates when i compared previously whith the like of thomas cook - but make sure its commission free!

Try here:

What I've done before is go into Thomas Cook and tell them that M&S are doing it cheaper and they usually price match or try and beat them
