What is the CHEAPEST way to get to alton towers? It will be for a group of about 30 adults.

I know there is a train to Uttoxeter then a bus to the theme park.

Is there any coach / bus service from wolverhampton?

 too soon a tad me thinks

Why not look at hiring a coach? phone a few companies and see what offer they would do. Could be just as cheap as booking to all go with a company

Tragic case. Now appears the teenage kids were telling him to slow down. Completely abnormal for any teenager to say that IMO

Seems a very long way to go from Scotland to Alton Towers for a DAY out.

Especially with the weather being as it was,
saw it on the news and the snow was horrendous.

Poor girl, i feel for her family, and all the others involved, must have been a shocking experience for them all.

Was gonna suggest that too,

with paying bus / rail fares individually, may be worthwhile looking into the cost of hiring someone.

If you can get to Stoke station relatively cheaply (book in advance etc) you can get the bus from there. Normally easier to get to Stoke station than Uttoxeter.

Travel west midlands do go to Alton towers so you can literally get a bus there and back for a reasonable price (from dudley or wolverhampton), although im guessing you may be wanting to use a 2for1 voucher so perhaps considering the money you save on tickets approach a few local companies to hire a coach?

UP THE WOLVES!!!!

and might be a stab in the dark but we used a company called 'top gear cars' based in cradely who took a group of 16 of us to newquay and back for £13 each. how on earth they made any profit i have no idea when all other taxi companies were charging double that plus... all the best

I went to Alton Towers via train a few years ago. The ticket from Crewe paid for the train, bus connection and entry into Alton Towers I think it was about £25 each so an ok price for "all in". The only trouble was that I went over the Easter hols so there were lots of school children doing the same thing. As soon as we got off the train they filled the bus up so the poor adults who didn't run with them had to wait for over an hour for the next bus. We were at crewe for 8ish and didn't get into Alton Towers until 11ish.

I suggest you hire a coach to make the most of your time.

We're booked to go with Aberfoyle Coaches! We got a package deal! Which includes travel and ticket and we get into the minigolf for free!!! Was only £49 each and my nephew is only £39 cause he is 10. alontowerstrips.com
