Travelodge near London

I was wondering if anyone could help. I am looking to go to London to do a bit of sightseeing at the beginning of August for a few days. I just wanted to know is there any Travelodges on the outskirts of London near to a tube station that would take us into Central London. I was going to stay in London but the congestion charges are ridiculous (NCP was £36 for 24 hours)

Any help would be appreciated (and rep added)

Moved to misc, feedback is for HUKD issues.

try an easyhotel, very basic but very cheap!

A few to name Uxbridge, Hounslow, Hayes,Ealing...

theres a premier inn, in Kenton which is about a minutes walk from the tube station which is on the Bakerloo line IIRC

I think they did have 29 pound rooms on offer at certain dates also

I might be wrong, but I think the OP needed the daily rate, not hourly! :w00t:

The Novotels actually IN LONDON (Tower Hill to name one) are not that expensive.

Have a look on expedia or Last Minute.

^^^^^ LOL GUV!

From personal experience, Travelodge Farringdon is a good choice ( no tube in walking distance. If ur fit, its 7-10 mins stroll from Russell Square tube station) hence cheap price.

BUT, plus point > Travelodge Farringdon is on a great 24 hr bus route, runs every 5-8 mins. Its about 5 mins bus journey to Kings Cross/ Paddington station, you can cross over road and catch over 10 bus routes into city. 2 stops the other way takes you to Farringdon and Weatherspoons. Cheap evening meal.

Oyster card on buses is capped at about £4 a day. Ive done a few london breaks and use buss all around city as its far more cost effective and less effort. All the tube stations seem to have miles of stairs?!?

Travelodge Kings cross AND kings cross royal are also in spitting distance, so they would be handy also....... just see what comes up from those 3 with best rates for date you want?

Its the number 63 bus that goes past all of those hotels.

Check this at the weekend, should have the lastest/cheapest from for 1st week/end in Aug

I have stayed in Heathrow Central before. There is a tube station up the road which takes you into central london. The only downside was I think it where around 50 minutes to kings cross...

Hope it helps a little!
