asda do cheapish one...but in that rnage ur load isnt gonna be much more than 3kg...is that cool??

You may be able to fix it, we repaired ours, the thermostat broke, cost about £10/15 and really easy to fix

Might be worth trying?

bang may be the elastic band breaking - I think its £15 / £20 for a replacement

You may be able to repair it

For £100 you arent going to get much of a drier, id recommend a condensor but you wont get one for that price, a veature to look for though is a reverse action one as it stops your clothes getting tangled and cuts down on creasing, if you are on a tight budget try such as comet and other larger electrical stores) as they sometimes have cosmetically damaged ones with a substantial discount (usually a small scratch on the side where you are likely not to notice anyway!). Luckily its summer (allegedly) and demand for dryers is lower and prices tend to be too as they are wanting rid of last winters stock.

My cussing pc monitor went pop last night too! Just as I was about to flash my 360 :x cant do it with bloody laptop either! Other pc is rigged to TV but cant use that as you need to boot from usb in dos and the tv doesnt recognise the signal until operating system is started!! Aaaargh, gonna see if I can scrounge a crt monitor from freecycle for now to make do with til the next good deal comes along.

Put washing out in the garden it's a great day for it, washing that is not drying.

You wont get one for £100.

anyway, how old is it as if within 5 years you may be able to claim from the manufacturer as not fit for purpose?

If you are going to buy new then wait until you really need it (i.e end of summer).

they cost a fortune in electric.

Hopefully something comes up a good deal and a member posts up.
Could you possibly hold off at all,I hope we do have some good days this Summer ( it's dry here for once and my machine is on I got 2 huge baskets full to catch up ) and have 1 nearer to Winter and by then somehting good as come about on a deal.
