The last which test I read the Siemens came top.
This was the model tested but only 7kg so you would have to pay a little more for the 8kg version…spx

I have an AEG Protex T75280AC which is brilliant As for Siemens, you find much of the same innards (though the Siemens will have a few extra features) as an equivalent Bosch. With Siemens you're just paying for the extra warranty/brand name kudos. Also Siemens are backing out of the white goods market very soon.

"The ProTex dryer dries with great gentleness and care. The intelligent OptiSense system tailors the cycle time to your load size, preventing your clothes from being overdried, whilst the XL Soft Drum provides gentle care for extra large loads up to 8kg. The Silent System Plus and generous insulation ensure near-silent operation. So you can relax, knowing you won't be disturbed and your clothes will stay looking new for longer."…eMc

I bought mine ^^ from XS Items outlet, ex-display, for around £250-odd. I got extra knocked off the price when I discovered my machine had fluff in it (!!)..they said it had maybe been tested but not used. Been fine for the last two years and it looked pristine otherwise.
