I am trying to use MMS to send a picture on Sky mobile.
Phone is running Marshmallow (can not upgrade).
Have had settings resent and they look correct.
Tried a different messaging app but still no good.
Any ideas?

Does Sky Mobile charge for picture messages?
Picture messages (MMS) are not included in your plan

Yes you are correct . I did not think of that they want 40p to send a MMS .

Maybe your account won't allow it i:e it may charge extra for MMS. If it's a pic you're trying to send, why not use Whats-app? It uses your data allowance.

The person I am sending too has not got Whats-app installed as it is a new mobile.
Its a standard Sky unlimited talk/texts and 2Gb data.

I cannot do that on plus.net because I have capped my extra spend on top of the contract to £0. MMS is a chargeable service I believe.

Are these the correct settings in your phone?

If the other person does not have Whatsapp, try sharing as a link using google photos, which will be free also and doesn't require anything but an internet connection on the other device.
