Unlocking a phone

Hi guys,

Does anyone know of a reputable eBay seller that unlocks phones?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 that I am giving to my missus, but need it unlocked.
T-Mobile/EE want £8.99 (not bad) but it will take 60 days.

Cheers for the replies.

You can unlock a S4 for free... Look online

Samsung can be unlocked for free with Odin.
Have a look on XDA forums.

Seems straight forward, I will give it a go. If I balls it up, how easy is it to fix?

That method was patched along time ago..

So I should avoid?

There was also a website when I had mine.
You just went to site and clicked unlock. Can't for life of me remember the name. The site just had a symbol on the page.

2 Methods here.

Various people on eBay do it for between £10-£15 which is just a code unlock and doesn't involve rooting or flashing with the potential of breaking your phone.

You could try it, but don't be surprised if it doesn't work. It was patched during KitKat days. I used the metod when I got my S4 along while ago.

Why does it take 60 days? It states it is normally within 10 days.

I received mine in around 6/7 days from EE.

Their site says up to 60 for Samsung. My last phone (S3), took about that from them :-(
How long ago did you get it done?

I'm pretty sure there are methods you can use to unlock S4 yourself without compromising the device in anyway
Just search online
