unopened ps3 game - no receipt. can i get store credit?

Hey all,
Am the proud owner of a PS3 that i bought thanks to the Dabs offer i found on this awesome site.

However, i got the F-1 game in the bundle which doesn't interest me in the slightest. It's unopened and still in plastic wrap.
Any ideas if i might be able to get store credit or an exchange in a highstreet store?
Anyone with experience of the situation? it seems silly to trade it in gamestation for £15 or whatever they offer.

Cheers.

Considering they're selling it for £24.99...your not going to get much. CEX normally give good trade in prices but I cant find it on there site

yeah, i've a feeling it's one of those hugely unwanted bundle games that no-one wants.

i think blockbuster are taking in any ps3 game for £30 against a new one....might be wise to grab that offer while it's still hot.

I know gamestation where doing the same but took it off pretty quickly. Good luck with it

the game is great, you should play it

ah i've played f1 games before. i've no interest in the sport so it's never done anything for me. i prefer the more insane style of racing games.

if anyone's interested i went into WHSmiths at lunchtime and they accepted it back without reciept (£39.99 of credit) - then i remembered that there's nothing else out there that i really want....so i got another joypad and a magazine.

You might aswell open it and play it just to see if you like it, because the game being in its packaging will make no difference to the price that blockbusters or some other similar shops will give you. I found this when i traded Pro evo 6, which i received in a bundle but didn't want.
Good luck!
