Who are you buying from? If you're spending that sort of money, I'd be more concerned about the after sales.

Well I Will Be Buying It From Cube 247 Which Apparently Are Ok For After Sales But Then Again Im Gona Buy It On 6 Months Buy Now Pay Later So If They Mess With Me They Aint Getting Nothing Lol

Never heard of them before. 0870 support number and no address on website would put me off. If you know where they are and are local to them, then you'll probably be OK. Personally, I'd probably build one myself at that sort of spec or, if not, then I'd be more inclined to use Dell if I were spending nearly a grand.

No to the first one, two 9500s in SLI is just silly.

The second one looks acceptable if you won't be gaming or photo-editing.

is the graphics card on the 2nd one no good?

i only really play fifa soccer games.

Our special spec PC was built by Novatech and they are very good for after sales:
novatech.co.uk/nov…ch/

I suppose it depends if you have a store nearby but you could try pricing the above specs with them and order through quidco for 3% cashback.

Well, an £800 PC that's designed for playing various games would have a more powerful graphics card, an 8600GT is more suited to a £400-500 PC.

I had a quick look at the FIFA 08 system requirements and they were very low but I don't know how accurate they are or how much more is needed to get it to run at the best settings. An 8600GT should be more than enough to get it running smoothly though.

Altogether he wants to pay £800 but thats with the monitor if you subtract £150 for the monitor, he's PC is somewhere around £650; I know what your saying about the 8500GT and at that price range I would of been hoping for an 8800 GT, but it depends what your gonna use the PC for, if your not using the PC for much gaming you might aswell have a low end graphics card. The PC's will handle FIFA 08, if you pay £300 for a PC that props would. Back to original post Yes I would choose option 2 because option 1 9500GT isn't right, but it does depend on what your using the PC for aswell. At the end it's your choice.
