US Power Adapter

Hi, Just got back from the US with a number of items such as Amazon Echo, Amazon Fire Stick, Tablets and Mobile Phones and would like to get power adapters so they work in the UK. Past experience of travel adapters haven't been great as they are very hit and miss. Wondering if there are any good one's that people recommend? Thanks

Some of the devices require higher amps than most of the cheaper adapters provide. I seem to recall the poundstore are normally 0.5 amps, whereas some devices need 1.5 to 2 amps. But I've found in the past that the amps stated on the charger isn't always the amps they provide - normally they are lower than they state.

This should only apply if you're using multiple USB connections.

Any respectable branded charger should give the stated amps but if in doubt buy the official branded UK charger. Amazon sell their UK chargers separately.
