    USB controller for android help

Good morning everyone , after a bit of help to set up a USB controller to play emulators on android box and android tablet , it's just NES/SNES games I will be playing.

I bought a basic USB controller thinking I would just plug it in and play but I can't seem to get it working , is there anything in particular I need to download to get it working ? I don't have access to a PC (if that's needed) also I have the OTG cable for the tablet.

I tried a PS3 controller before buying the USB controller but had no luck with that either.

Any help is appreciated , thanks

Thank you for the reply, do you think the PS3 one would work with it?

It can be used with a rooted app called sixaxis but as you dont have a pc you wont be able to do it.
