USB Wifi adaptor and antenna mixed connectors help please!

Got a usb wifi adaptor but want to boost the range, will the following work?

You do realise all the links you gavce are American?
it has r-sma antenna connector (standard for wi-fi) and not sma, which means you'd have to physically see if the connector is the same, there are several versions of sma sockets, including both male and female
The aerial is fine, but way more than needed unless your planning on going from house to house across the road or similar, it's a directional aerial which means the best reception is when the aerial is pointin gat each other, move to one side and chances are you'll lose the signal.
Get a hi gain unidirectional aerial, much better value unless you specificaly want a beam

Yeah, sites are uk ebay, and dealextreme which is actually chinese and a fairly good site (quite a few users on here, its one of those sites people love or hate), the other site was just reference for a picture.

Thanks for the input anyway, I may just order anyway.
