    Using LCD for CAD drawing

Would using a HD LCD screen be suitable for CAD drawings using AutoCAD or the likes ? My work monitor is on it's last legs and I would be tempted to opt for a larger screen if it was possible.

Any experts out there, please let me know.
    Thanks

All LCD screens are HD because of the resoltuions they pump out. I would definatly suggest getting a large LCD screen if you are doing CAD drawings. Generally people would only suggest getting a CRT if blacks are a complete and utter must for you.

thanks Tatey, I know the resolution is obviously better than an ordinary TV, but is it as good as a PC monitor. Sometimes I have to "zoom" in close.
