Using Paypal to bill - help

Not sure if this is the right place for this. Thinking about posting something to sell via 'folk'. Have a paypal account. Anyone direct me to instructions on how to bill someone with paypal? In fleabay it's all done automatically.

    Cheers.

as a new seller and depending on the item you may be asked to send the item first as you have no feedback here as for payment by paypal you will private message the buyer with you email address so they can pay you

Crikey...I'd be a bit worried about sending a TV to someone without payment. But I can also see the the reverse is also true (at least on ebay the buyer would have some protection). Hmmm.

You are still covered by paypal protection for item not received if the payment is amde by the normal paypal methods and not via a gift payment. But this is the buyers risk anyway. Pay by gift and the seller pays no charges but the buyer has no protection. Pay by usual paypal method and buyer has protection for an item not received but the seller pays charges.

That seems pretty reasonable. So offer standard paypal...I pay a bit extra but the buyer is covered.

    Cheers all.

^^ I'd say anything over a value of £20-30 it's worth taking the payapl charges and offer the protection. If I was buying off you I'd pay the charges for you in the knowledge I was covered. At around 3.5% it's a bit daft to lose say £100 for the sake of £3.50.
