What do you mean "hack Sky's Freesat offer"?

Using the freesat dish. Disconnecting the receiver and putting another FTA one or using something like a splitter.. Sorry if I sound like a novice, don't have that much experience...

The simple answer is yes. You can simply connect a HD freesat receiver to your current sky dish.

4 metre dish.

Problem with the carribbean is the fact they need to obtain satellite feeds with footprints aimed in the US. For the UK, with Europe on our doorsteps and stronger signals, we dont need to go that big anymore. It wouldn't surpise me if the dish in the picture is overkill either.

I can pick up anything bound for Europe with mine, plus faint stuff such as Nilesat aimed to the middle East. Saturday Morning matinee beheadings will never be quite the same! (That is meant as a joke BTW - though I'm told they do show such things!)

Dish in pic was meant to be a joke lol but their dishes are huge and motorised out there......and them supposedly in a 3rd world country

Mines motorised.

But I doubt very much that Joe Average goes out and buys one of those big dishes. I'd also say that the need to do so is far less (due to stronger signals), so likely that people no longer need to plant them that size..... but no point in replacing them either.

Is that simply a matter of plug and play (obviously, disconnecting first

Using a Sky Dish will only bring in channels from Sky or Freesat, unless you re-align the dish.

You cannot use a splitter.
