V12 Finance Buy Now Pay Later Interest Free

I tried to buy a new TV through a retailer using their Buy Now Pay Later offer via V12 finance.
Now I have never been turned down by finance before but V12 did turn me down.
What bothered me is that upon turning me down for the finance they referred me to experian for a credit check which is free but I will be charged a monthly fee if I do not cancel. It all seems a bit suspect, has anyone ever got credit with V12 Fince?

V12 are pretty well known in retail so I wouldn't be that worried. Seems you are now whats classed in the trade as a "minky"

With Experian you can get your report for free but if you sign up they will charge you monthly and give you all sorts of updates etc.
