Why would you have the V5 for a car you are buying tomorrow?
I had the same problem a while back. I asked the garage i was buying from if i could get 1 from my local office but was told they are only issued from dvla swansea. Mind you it only took 3 days from making the call. Good luck.

LOL

I doubt they will give the new car without the v5 for the old..... but they can see you own it, so maybe you'll get lucky! As someone else said, its £25 for a replacement. I'd expect it to be longer than 3 days though!
