I've had velux windows for 7years now and it's only recently its really bugging me when its really bright in my room. I went on the velux website and to no suprise they where pricey. I am going to buy two oen for the big window and for the smaller. Was just wondering if anyone has seen any cheaper for these kind of windows. Thanks in advance

you will find them cheaper at a local stockist rather that from the website
checkout your local builders merchants they may give you some discount

(Right cant get the link to work, but copy and paste the above and you get the idea!!)

Hope this helps, I used these about a year ago for some blackout blinds and they worked out at around £50 each. Good service and proper velux blinds too.

Make sure you get velux branded, I made the mistake since of going for some generic unbranded ones and you have to remove the grey plastic bits from the actual window before installing them
