What deals can I get on taking out a Virgin bundle?

We are due to move next week and the new house has cable. I had in mind to get the phone line, 2mb broadband, 400 minutes of calls and the TV (L).

Can anyone advise me how to get the best price, i.e should I go through quidco? if I go through quidco am I then entitled to the £50 credit?

Please help!

i've found with virgin if you call and haggle you always get a better deal than whats already on offer.

Virgin generally won't negotiate unless you're already an existing customer but it's always worth a try.
If they won't budge, then you may as well sign up via a cashback scheme such as quidco or topcashback.

I nogotiated great deals for my ex but she was already a customer on all products and my mum was paying £25 for her phoneline through them and £25 for 8mb AOL broadband but after a couple calls to virgin, I cancelled the internet via AOL and upgraded it to 20MB for £35 including unlimited landline calls, saving us £15 a month and offering much better broadband plus I haggled £50 cashback, so we can buy another wireless router. :thumbsup:

Okay, thanks for the tips. Well, pleased I called them! The original price they quoted was £47 a month. I then asked if there were any deals they could offer to bring that down at all and he instantly downgraded the tv package to a Medium as that includes Sky 1 now (it doesn't say so on the net yet, but hasn't been updated so it will any day) so that saved me a tenner. So all that for £37 a month and then they offered me the £50 cashback as per the internet and an additional £30 as I said that my mum recommended them and then they pay her £30 too. So all in all pretty chuffed as I was paying £15 a month alone to Tiscali for broadband and weekend talk and yet with the 400 minutes I can ring mobiles in the Philippines and Australia and NZ as part of the minutes.

Yep, they do occasionally overcharge, so make sure you check, as my ex's bills were increasing on a monthly basis without justification until we realised there was a "technical error" :roll:
