Virgin Media Back Tracking on My Broadand/tv/phone order

Just called Virgin Media to pay for my V top Box , after ordering the broadband phone tv
package via topcashback.. the customer adviser told me i cannot fulfill my order,, i have
no cable services to my house..

call me cynical but just rechecked their site with house number and post code and bingo
i can up to 50mb....when i moved in this house cable was already installed..

they have tracked my cashback ...i smell a rat...any ideas

My street was cabled some years ago, but few people took them up on it. A neighbour tried recently, and contract was set up........ then Virgin found that their cable runs had filled up with mud and rubbish because their installeres had not done a very good job! Result is neighbour stayed with Sky. Guess Virgin can fix this sort if problem if they want, it may be down to economics, ie if enough local people want cable they will put the money in to get the work done.
